Code Sprint

Participants will be given a run-time problem which requires a comprehensive solution within in a set time frame. Winners will be decided on criteria of Time, Design, UI/UX & functionality.

ProjecXellence

Participants will present their final year project to the jury and then the jury will decide the winners based on different criteria such as solution to a problem, design, scalability etc.

Panelists will shed light on the topic of AI & Emerging Trends in Healthcare across the globe. What impact and revolution will AI bring about and how we can make the most of it.

InnovateX Rules & Regulations

General Rules

  1. 1.

    Eligibility

    • Participants must be students currently enrolled in a university or college.
    • Different events have specific eligibility criteria (detailed below).
  2. 2.

    Participation

    • Participants must register online before the deadline i.e., 27 July 2024.
    • Each participant can only be part of one team.
  3. 3.

    Team Composition

    • Teams must consist of a minimum of 2 members and a maximum of 4 members.
    • Teams can include members from different semesters (semester 1 to 6 for Speed programming) (Semester 7 & 8 for Final year project display)
    • Team members must be from the same university.
    • Every Team member is required to upload student card picture and transcript / Student
    • portal screen short showing the total semesters completed.
  4. 4.

    Registration

    • Each team must register through the official InnovatX website.
    • Registration requires filling out the necessary details for all team members.
    • A registration fee of Rs. 500 must be paid to confirm participation. Payment details available on the official website.

Specific Event Rules

  1. 1.

    CodeSprint

    • Open to students from Semester 1 to Semester 6.
    • Teams for this event must adhere to the general team composition rules.
    • Participants must be there on time, if a team or a team member is not present on time after waiting for 5 minutes that team will be disqualified.
    • Internet access and PCs will be provided.
  2. 2.

    ProjecXellence

    • Open to Two students from Semester 7 and Semester 8.
    • Teams for this event must adhere to the general team composition rules.
    • Participants must bring all necessary equipment for their project display.

Code of Conduct

  1. 1.

    Original Work

    • All submissions must be the original work of the participants.
    • Plagiarism or use of pre-existing projects will lead to disqualification.
  2. 2.

    Disqualification Rules

    • Teams found violating any rules will be disqualified.
    • Any form of cheating, hacking, or unfair practices will result in immediate disqualification.
    • Inappropriate behavior or misconduct will lead to removal from the event.
  3. 3.

    Judging Criteria

    • Projects will be judged based on creativity, functionality, and presentation.
    • The decision of the judges is final and binding.
  4. 4.

    Intellectual Property

    • Participants retain ownership of their projects.
    • By participating, teams agree to allow the InnovateX organizers to use their project details for promotional purposes.
  5. 5.

    Code of Ethics

    • All participants must adhere to the highest standards of ethics and conduct.
    • Collaboration and sharing of ideas are encouraged, but the final submission must be unique to each team.

Schedule and Logistics

  1. 1.

    Event Schedule

    • The InnovateX will be held on 7th August, 2024.
    • Detailed schedule and timings for different events will be shared upon registration.
  2. 2.

    Venue

    • The InnovateX will take place at Gift University Gujranwala.
    • Participants are responsible for their own transportation and accommodation.
  3. 3.

    Support

    • Mentors and technical support will be available throughout the event.
    • Participants can seek help, but the final work must be their own.

Awards and Recognition

  1. 1.

    Prizes

    • Prizes will be awarded to the top teams in each event category.
    • Additional special awards may be given for innovation, best presentation, etc.
  2. 2.

    Certificates

    • All participants will receive a certificate of participation
    • Winners will receive certificates of achievement.

By registering for the hackathon, participants agree to abide by all the rules and regulations mentioned above. The organizers reserve the right to amend these rules at any time.
